No, I don’t provide website updates. You can either DIY the updates, or hand them off to your virtual assistant or website admin. If you aren’t going to do them yourself, I can offer some trusted resources for backend updates, graphic design, and copywriting.

If you’re not sure whether you can make the updates yourself, I recommend the Signa­ture plan. It offers two virtual sessions with me and includes an Action Plan, which is a detailed step-by-step checklist for the updates, prioritized by importance and urgency. This is a list of pointed tasks, referencing the specific page, paragraph, section, image, color, font, or link to update. You can confidently share this list with someone trustworthy and capable of updating your site, including a friend, relative, or budget freelancer from a service marketplace like Fiverr. The Action Plan is designed to be thorough and eliminate guesswork.

The Micro and Break­through plans include the Flash Audit Report, which is a list of my findings but leaves the decisions and creative direction up to you. See a sample of each below.

No. As a writer, artist, and overall creative, I prefer to use my own skills to review websites and write my recommendations. All artwork, text, and PDF templates are created by me. I use the MacOS Screenshot app for screen recordings, LumaFusion to edit videos, Affinity Publisher to design, write, and generate PDFs, and Affinity Designer to create graphics and illustrations.

No. It can be a WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace, or even Wix site. Usability and design guidelines are universal. I focus solely on the customer experience when navigating your site.

  • Micro: Up to 2 weeks. I will do the First Impression Scan for your site and send you your custom Flash Audit Report within 2 weeks of booking.
  • Breakthrough: Up to 30 days. You will receive your custom Flash Audit Report and Video Walk­through within 2 weeks of booking. Schedule our Virtual Followup within 30 days.
  • Signature: Up to 90 days. After our Virtual Followup, you will receive your prioritized Action Plan within 2 weeks, then we’ll have our Flashback Call within 3 months.

You just need a live website! Or, if your website is not yet live, it must be accessible via the internet even if you need to set up a password for me to see it.

Select your Flash Audit plan and fill out the intake form you receive with the order confirmation. I’ll reach out when your custom Flash Audit Report is ready!

No. My initial scan is done offline so I can focus without you in mind, allowing me to have a truly unbiased reaction.

However, the Breakthrough and Signature plans each include a longer Video Walk­through with my commentary. You’ll not only see where I’m clicking and when, but also why I’m clicking and what I expect to see.

If you purchased the Micro plan and decide you want to upgrade to a different plan, contact me. I will apply a credit toward the upgrade in the following two cases:

  • Before you receive the Flash Audit Report (within the first 2 weeks of purchase)
  • Within 30 days of the Flash Audit Report date (no more than 45 days after initial purchase)

To ensure we get the absolute most out of our focus on layout and usability, the Flash Audit service does not cover:

  • Backend Technical Work: Full site redesigns, live updates, coding, or creating new site mockups.
  • Traffic & Marketing: SEO strategy, keyword optimization, or marketing analytics.
  • Legal & Compliance: Privacy policies, terms of service, GDPR compliance, cookie banners, or ADA accessibility audits.
  • Creative Assets: Professional graphic design, logo creation, or branding overhauls.
